C hapter 4 Software Configuration

1. P lease use the “ dahdi_genconf " command to configure the /etc/dahdi/system.conf and generate

/etc/asterisk/dahdi-channels.conf .

[trixbox1.localdomain dahdi-tools-2.2.0]# amportal stop

[trixbox1.localdomain dahdi-tools-2.2.0]# rmmod wctdm

[trixbox1.localdomain dahdi-tools-2.2.0]# modprobe wctdm

[trixbox1.localdomain dahdi-tools-2.2.0]# dahdi_genconf

Tips: It does not show any output if dahdi_genconf run successfully.

2. To check whether it has finished the configuration, please open the system.conf file,

make sure the 16 ports have already been configured:

[trixbox1.localdomain dahdi-tools-2.2.0]# vi /etc/dahdi/system.conf
